Meningitis B Vaccination

• Adults need two doses 4 weeks apart
• Babies – 8wks, 12 wks and a booster at 1 year
• Infants aged 2-5 months – 3 doses a month apart and a booster between 12-15 months
• Infants 6-11 months, 2 doses 2 months apart and a booster between 12-23 months

A meningitis B (MenB) vaccination is recommended because it protects against one of the most dangerous and fast-acting infections in the UK.
